About Us

Family Church of Christ believes we should carry out the great commission found in Matthew 28:16-20 to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit".  This is accomplished by sharing the good news of Acts 2:38 that we should "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."  Upon receiving that gift, we feel the Holy Spirit will compel one to pursue a deeper relationship with Christ.

The means of this pursuit can be summed up by the two greatest commands outlined by Jesus in Matthew 28:36-39 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.   And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

The product of this pursuit can be summed up with James 1:27  ”Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
